1. Follow the product destination

Category cards open a detail page on this website. Use its external product link to continue to the matching reference in the wider catalog. Some homepage picks open that external catalog directly.

For an item in a buyer share, read the original discussion for the author’s product reference. A similar item in our categories is an alternative to compare, not confirmation of the author’s exact purchase.

2. Match the model and selected option

Compare the name and photos, then check the color, size, quantity and package contents. Confirm what the quoted amount includes before you save a candidate.

When a destination offers several products or variants, keep the full reference and the selected option together. A shop homepage alone may not identify the intended item.

3. Handle a link that does not identify the item

Read the destination’s current message. A temporary access failure does not establish that the item was removed. Try the destination normally and search the wider catalog by the saved product name if appropriate.

If you still cannot identify the item, keep that uncertainty with the reference. Choose an alternative only after comparing its own details.

4. Save a complete selection record

Record the detail-page URL, destination URL, model, color, size and quantity. Add the price and date checked, plus any measurement or included-part information that affected your choice.

For order-specific help, use the buying platform handling the transaction. Keep its order confirmation separate from public product-link discussions.
